Description
Wortlaut imitates casual handwriting with “printed” letters. It does not look extravagant or constructed or calligraphic. It’s simply a clear, clean hand for e.g. shopping lists or sticky notes. For that reason the font is also suitable for longer passages of text, not only a few words or lines. You might use it for rendering e.g. a handwritten letter within a printed novel. Wortlaut comes with additional characters for most Eastern and Western European languages but does not contain Greek or Cyrillic glyphs. It comes in four weights, light, regular, semibold and bold. The font is released under the SIL Open Font License, Version 1.1.
